Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking a Mobile Electrical Technician to service train stations across London, Kent, and surrounding areas. A company van is provided, and a UK Driving License is essential; PTS may be required for site access.

40-hour weeks with a 1-in-6 on-call rota, salary £36k–£42k, travel time allowance and overtime opportunities. The role supports the SETL railway contract across multiple locations, with a strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (preferred, not essential).
• City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent required.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition essential.
• City and Guilds 2391 desirable.
• PTS desirable (not essential).
• IOSH Working/Managing Safely desirable.
• Safe System of Work Procedure - PTW; RAMS desirable.
• L8 Training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work aligns with method statements, risk assessments, and safety legislation.
• Deliver PPM tasks and reactive works within contractual Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain high standards across all premises through proactive service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and their representatives through outstanding customer service.
• Keep site documentation up to date for regular audits.
• Utilise the client's CAFM system to provide accurate service information.
• Demonstrate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe work delivery.
• Carry out Electrical Maintenance and Installation work in accordance with industry standards.
