Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a highly experienced Railway Telecoms Design CRE to lead telecoms design activities on a major rail infrastructure project. The role requires proven experience in UK railway telecoms projects, strong knowledge of FTNx design, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. The position offers a hybrid working model, requiring 2 days a week on-site in West London. Competitive rates are available.

Railway Telecoms Design CRE

Rate: £550 – £650/day
Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site in West London
Contract Type: Inside IR35

We are looking for a highly experienced Railway Telecoms Design CRE (Contractor’s Responsible Engineer) to lead and assure telecoms design activities on a major rail infrastructure programme.

To be considered:

• Proven experience as a Telecoms Design CRE in UK railway telecoms projects.
• Strong understanding of FTNx design and UK railway telecoms standards.
• Ability to manage design assurance, interface coordination, and compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Role Details:

• Lead telecoms design activities and ensure compliance with UK railway standards.
