Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per annum
Shifts: Days and Nights

We’re looking for an experienced Rail Site Manager to join our team in Scotland, overseeing cleaning operations for a major rail contract.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of 30+ operatives, ensuring depot and fleet cleaning standards are consistently met and maintained to the highest level. Every day brings new challenges, and when you’re working with people, there’s never a dull moment.

Your strong leadership and interpersonal skills will be key to supporting, motivating, and developing your team while delivering exceptional service standards.

As a Rail Site Manager you’ll be:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction for all involved.
  • Ensuring the consistent quality of service delivery, with a focus on inclusivity and customer needs.
  • Managing ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, and audits, supporting the Operations Manager as required.
  • Leading contract and specification review meetings with clients
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures and legislation
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and growth, while ensuring that all perspectives are valued and considered.
As a Rail Site Manager you’ll have:
  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities, with the capacity to plan ahead, work under pressure, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
  • A working knowledge of Health and Safety systems within the cleaning industry, ensuring safety for all individuals involved.
  • Previous experience working with rail clients would be desirable, along with a flexible approach to meeting diverse client needs.
  • A full driving license and the ability to travel - occasional nights required.
