Job summary

Siemens in Scotland is offering a 48-month Engineering Technical Apprenticeship aligned to the SCQF Level 7. You’ll study at college in year one and gradually take on live railway signalling and control projects across the UK while gaining hands-on experience.

Throughout the programme you’ll develop core engineering skills, complete an Excellence Project, and work toward professional registration, with a pathway into a permanent role on successful completion.

Qualifications

• Achieved National 5 Maths, English and Science or Technical Subject with grade C or above.
• Highers would be advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop through structured apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Learn how signalling and control systems are designed, tested, installed and maintained.
• Gain real-world experience on live projects across the UK rail network.
• Develop career skills and work towards professional registration during the apprenticeship.
