Job summary

Rullion Managed Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Derby-based role in the rail industry. You will perform fault finding, preventative maintenance and repairs on modern rolling stock, helping keep trains safe and reliable.

The job requires hands-on work, adherence to safety procedures and occasional travel/overnight stays. You will join an experienced engineering team and contribute to maintenance delivery, inspections, and acceptance activities for new trains, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Served apprenticeship with mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Engineering based NVQ level 3.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on rolling stock as per maintenance instructions.
• Undertake servicing and preparation of rolling stock.
• Carry out driving duties within depot operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.
• Record all work activities and stock usage in the maintenance system.
• Adhere to health and safety processes and attend testing locations as required.
• Travel and overnight stays away from base location when needed.
