Job summary

Eurostar International Limited is seeking a Train Overhaul Project Manager to lead the R Exam overhaul and major rolling stock programmes. The role requires coordinating multiple streams across Engineering, Fleet Planning, Production, Quality and Procurement, with strong governance and risk management.

Based at Temple Mills depot in Leyton, the position is on-site with hybrid working in place, and attendance four days per week expected.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience delivering complex engineering or rolling stock projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across organisations.
• Experience managing risks, dependencies and change in safety-critical environments.
• Knowledge of engineering governance and safety management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the R Exam overhaul programme, ensuring milestones are met safely and on time.
• Coordinate internal and external workstreams across Engineering, Fleet Planning and Production.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and running kilometres for R Exams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues to senior stakeholders.
• Chair governance reviews and report progress with clear actions.
• Oversee supplier deliverables and ensure quality throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Support future maintenance and overhaul strategy development and budgeting.
