Qualifications

The Opportunity

We have a number of fantastic opportunities for Project Managers of all levels to join our Consulting Rail Design team. With shared office space in Birmingham, Derby, Manchester, York, Bristol and Cardiff, we welcome applications from Project Managers across these regions. We’re looking for:

  • Project Managers
  • Senior Project Managers
  • Lead Senior Project Managers

Supporting our growing project management team, delivering work on our major projects such as Northern Power House Rail, Eastern Routes Partnership, North West & Central framework, Core Valley Lines, Trans-Pennine Route Upgrade and Cardiff Crossrail. Our in-house Project Managers support the delivery of designs across all NR stages and all rail disciplines.

Project Manager Role

Our Project Managers play an important part within the Rail Design team and alongside our client. You will be a key part of the team, supporting your Project Management team in coordinating the integration of multidisciplinary designs across a variety of rail design schemes whilst taking the lead on projects and mentoring junior Project Managers.

What you will bring to us
  • Experience within the field of Project Management, preferably in the Rail Design sector
  • Experienced in undertaking project related tasks associated with the management of health, safety and welfare
  • Can take ownership for the preparation and checking of deliverables to a reasonable standard
  • Good working knowledge of project management software and similar analytical tools
  • Demonstrates good commercial awareness
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of interface management
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in an appropriate subject
  • Qualification with Association for Project Management relevant to your level of experience
