Job summary

VVB Engineering in Greater London is seeking a skilled professional to lead the design and construction activities of Fire Alarm and Detection Services for medium to large projects. Responsibilities include ensuring design compliance to standards, planning and delivering designs, and managing technical reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASD design and commissioning.
• Ability to coordinate complex Fire Alarm Cause & Effects documents.
• Ability to conduct quality inspections and onsite problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage project design and construction activities for Fire Alarm systems.
• Review designs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project.

Skills

Good working knowledge of BS 5893 suite of documents

Good working knowledge of Network Rail and TfL standards

Understanding of Fire Active and Fire Passive safety systems

Experience in managing clients and coordinating stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent IT skills and CAD/BIM Software knowledge

Strong project management and organizational skills
