A leading hire equipment provider in Newport is seeking a Rail Equipment Engineer responsible for maintaining service schedules and responding to customer needs during equipment breakdowns. The ideal candidate must possess a driving licence, strong mechanical and communication skills, and adaptability. Opportunities for hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available.

Based in the field, the Rail Equipment Engineer is a key role to Speedy’s rail supply; ensuring equipment service schedules are up to date and responding to our rail industry customers in their times of need, should equipment breakdown.
You’ll find yourself working trackside, in railway sidings or supporting in a Speedy depot as necessary.
