Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is hiring an Engineering Project Manager/Project Lead for a Cardiff-based rail and heavy engineering business. You will manage end-to-end engineering projects, coordinate across operations, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

This is an on-site role requiring a hands-on leader five days a week. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing or engineering background and be able to lead teams, plan lifecycles, track KPIs and engage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• PM from Manufacturing or Engineering background.
• Local to Cardiff.
• Work on site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts, track scopes, set KPIs and report to stakeholders.
• Plan lifecycles, create delivery schedules and block plans for operations.
• Lead teams, collaborate with production to ensure safe, on-time delivery.
• Control finances, budget, track project margins and cost efficiencies.
• Mitigate risks and coordinate project variations with the team.
