Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services in York is seeking an experienced Rail E&P Project Manager to oversee major rail signalling and power systems projects across the UK. The role involves delivering projects safely, on time and within budget in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will lead planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk management, coordinating design, installation, testing and commissioning with clients, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage rail signalling projects in the UK rail sector.
• Strong knowledge of E&P systems and rail safety standards.
• Experience working with Network Rail and principal contractors.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead rail Power projects from initial planning through to final completion.
• Track project schedules, budgets, resources, and associated risks.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure all activities comply with Network Rail standards and wider rail industry regulations.
• Prepare and deliver regular project progress reports and updates.
• Assist with planning, commercial, and operational project requirements.
