A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee electrical and civils works on station fit out projects in East London. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in rail contracting and valid PTS & SMSTS / SSSTS certifications. This role offers a competitive rate of £350-£400 CIS for a duration of 3 months, with potential for extension.

Job description

Are you a Construction Manager with a proven background overseeing electrical and civils works on station fit out projects? This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Manager to join an established team and assist on the delivery of station fit out in East London. This would suit an individual with previous civils experience within rail, ideally on M&E station fit out. Location: East London
Rate: £350-£400 CIS
Duration: 3 months with potential to extend.

• Effective leadership and supervision whilst overseeing on site labour and subcontractors.
• Continuous monitoring of progress, whilst ensuring safe and accurate delivery of works.
• Ensuring records are maintained such as allocation sheets, diaries, H&S documents.
• Preparation of WPP's and TBS's.
• Promote and enforce H&S standards throughout entire project, whilst reporting any issues.

Requirements

• Valid PTS & SMSTS / SSSTS
• Experience as a Construction or Works Manager in a rail contracting environment
• Experience in rail working on civils and buildings associated projects
