Arcadis is seeking a Principal Civil / Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of rail design projects in Bristol and London. You will work within multidisciplinary teams on bridges, stations, and depots, driving technical excellence and design assurance.

You should have Chartered Engineer status, a master's in civil engineering, and substantial rail infrastructure project experience. CRE exposure is a plus, and mentoring will be provided to develop your leadership in the rail sector.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status with ICE or IStructE.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant civil/structural design experience on infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading the delivery of complex engineering projects.
• Rail sector experience would be advantageous.
• CRE experience, or working toward CRE competency, would be beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Lead the delivery of civil and structural design projects within the rail sector.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Undertake and oversee interdisciplinary design reviews and verification activities.
• Manage production and quality assurance of engineering analyses and deliverables.
• Coordinate survey requirements and integrate into project delivery.
• Identify and manage design risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Support Project Directors and Project Managers in successful delivery.
