Job summary

WSP is seeking Early Career Professionals to join its Rail Advisory team. You will gain exposure to rail operations, maintenance, rolling stock and strategy, developing a breadth of knowledge across multiple discipline areas.

You will work across projects, learning from experts in a collaborative environment and building the skills needed for a rounded consultant in Railways. Hybrid working in the UK is available.

Qualifications

• You will have an engineering, mathematical or computer science degree.
• You can think holistically with systems thinking for complex problems.
• You understand railways across governance, systems or operations.
• You are aware of the consultancy environment.
• You have organisational skills and proactive planning.
• You have some postgraduate rail experience.
• You can speak clearly and persuasively, presenting ideas.
• You communicate well in reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Act in a client facing role and develop core consultancy skills.
• Undertake project and commercial management to grow technical and non-technical abilities.
• Support advisory across rail governance, operations, maintenance and strategies.
