Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc (hons) Radiotherapy (or equivalent) required.
• HCPC registration required.
• Evidence of CPD activity expected.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the senior in charge of the unit when required.
• Provide clear instructions, guidance and advice to patients and their carers with respect to treatment procedures, side-effects and follow-up appointments.
• Supervise student radiographers and Apprentice Radiographers on clinical and elective placement.
• Support the team leader in day-to-day management of patient flow and workload.
• Provide high quality individualised treatment and care to all patients.
• Act with integrity and professionalism and be a role model to junior staff.
