Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a candidate to assist in pharmaceutical handling and stock management within the aseptic unit. Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in the receipt, checking and storage of pharmaceutical compounds and raw materials, consumables, including cleaning products for aseptic processing against approved purchase orders meeting set standards for condition and documentation.
• Participate in the cleaning of the aseptic unit as specified in the quality diary, including the quarterly full cleans.
• Contribute to maintaining appropriate stock levels of drugs and consumables used within the aseptic unit, minimising waste while ensuring sufficient stock is available to prepare treatments. Perform stock checks, note stock requirements against levels, expiry dates, stock rotation, and report any failures to the senior technician team.
• Verify that equipment used is fit for purpose and operating within normal parameters, documenting and escalating any discrepancies to the responsible person.
• Undertake regular routine QC monitoring against a schedule, including settle and contact plate monitoring, simulation test kits, swabs, particle counting, and air sampling, completing all required documentation.
