Job summary

Cardinal Health in Dover is seeking a delivery driver to ensure prompt distribution of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers. You will prepare doses, load shipments, and navigate to assigned routes using a handheld tablet.

The role requires driving in all weather, lifting up to 75 pounds, and maintaining logs and vehicle upkeep. The position includes a 40-hour work week with shift variations, on-call duties, weekends, and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record; CDL or HazMat endorsement required
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving company vehicle
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Ability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Weekend/holiday/on-call rotations required
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
• Ability to use computers and tablets

Responsibilities

• Delivers to customer accounts on assigned route using company vehicle
• Packages radiopharmaceuticals for shipment and loads/unloads containers
• Uses handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route info and navigation
• Maintains vehicles and performs minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
• Assists in packing doses and preparing cases for shipment in compliance with safety standards
