A healthcare provider in Chester is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their Radiology Department. This role includes assisting with patient care, clerical tasks, and participating in various procedures under supervision. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person with sincere interest in joining a dynamic and friendly Radiology Team. You will be expected to work within a very diverse Radiology Department, based across multiple sites including The Countess of Chester Hospital, Ellesmere Port Hospital and the Community Ultrasound Hubs.
You will learn a broad set of skills to assist Radiographers, Sonographers and Radiologists in all areas to ensure the efficient running of a very busy department. You must be of a very caring disposition to support every patient within the Radiology Department to ensure they have the most rewarding experience whilst in our care. You will ensure patient confidentiality and dignity are preserved at all times, maintain an understanding of manual handling, infection control, Health and Safety and Fire regulations and carry out Clerical and Administrative duties within the department. The successful candidate will ensure a neat appearance at all time, wearing appropriate staff uniform and protective clothing suitable to the task as per departmental policy. You will be encouraged to attend staff meetings. Be prepared to share extra working opportunities during evenings and weekend shifts.
