Job description

We are seeking a dedicated administrative and clerical assistant to support the Radiology Department, ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate data management using EPIC and ICE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and effective service to patients and staff
  • Maintain a customer care approach at all times
  • Support introduction of quality and business initiatives
  • Encourage feedback for departmental quality improvement
  • Contribute to team objectives and maintain high standards
  • Maintain communication and relationships with stakeholders
  • Convey factual information to patients (including children) regarding examinations
  • Accurately input patient details into EPIC
  • Handle telephone enquiries from the public discreetly and empathetically
  • Liaise with GP practices, hospital staff and other agencies, taking action and passing information promptly
  • Assist departments for rota gaps and operational needs
  • Travel to satellite sites on an ad‑hoc basis to cover reception areas when required

Working Hours

Monday–Friday 8 am to 4 pm.
