Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals, NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting enthusiastic Radiology Health Care Assistants to join the Radiology Department at Wigan Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, with rotation to the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Leigh Infirmary and the Wrightington site.

You will provide administration support, assist radiographers, prepare imaging rooms and help with diagnostic procedures, while delivering a high level of patient care and working flexibly across

Formación

• Two years NHS experience in a Band 3 Healthcare Support role or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths and English or Functional Skills as a minimum requirement.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Commitment to patient care and ability to work across multiple sites.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administration support, reception duties and booking on the departmental system.
• Assist radiographers and Consultant Radiologists in the Radiology Department.
• Prepare imaging rooms and assist during diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain clean and tidy department following cleaning protocols.
• Liaise with wards, clinicians and patients to plan requirements.
• Support workload organisation and respond to service needs.
