A healthcare provider in Slough is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Radiology team. This position involves assisting Radiologists and Radiographers with various Radiological procedures in a newly established diagnostic centre. Responsibilities include maintaining patient dignity and providing assistance during imaging exams. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ in Care or equivalent experience, with prior exposure to Radiology being advantageous. The role supports a healthy work-life balance and encourages flexible working arrangements.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team and develop new skills in the world of Radiology. The successful candidate will involve working on a rota, with extended days and weekends.
You will support the work of the Radiology Department to assist Radiologists and Radiographers in performing a range of Radiological procedures, including Ultrasound and CT.
We have a new state of the art Emergency Department which opened in April 2019 with dedicated DR X Ray rooms, Ultrasound and a CT scanner. The successful applicant will be expected to rotate into this area from the main X-Ray department, US and CT.
This is a rotational post between the newly opening Slough Community Diagnostic Centre at Upton, Wexham Park Hospital (Slough), Heatherwood Elective Centre (Ascot), St Mark's Hospital (Maidenhead) and King Edward's VII Hospital (Windsor).
