University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is inviting applications for a Band 2 Radiology Assistant within the ultrasound departments across University Hospital Coventry, Hospital of St Cross and City of Coventry Health Centre. The role involves supporting patients and clinical staff with imaging, patient flow, room cleanliness and stock control.

The position operates on a 7-day shift pattern and sponsorship is not eligible.

Radiology Assistant working within the ultrasound departments at University Hospital Coventry, Hospital of St Cross and City of Coventry Health Centre. Providing support to patients and clinical staff.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, reliable and highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team at our University Hospital Coventry Hospital of St Cross sites, as a Band 2 Assistant.

Shift pattern over a 7-day week (Sun-Sat).

You will be part of a large clinical team, on numerous sites, providing support to a variety of staff groups including Consultants, Nurses and Sonographers within the General Ultrasound Department. Duties involve assisting with patient care before, during and after imaging examinations, coordinating the movement of inpatients with porters, cleaning of scan rooms and stock control.

It is essential the successful candidate enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in patient care. You must have excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team, but also have the ability to use your initiative and work individually.
