Job summary

The Cromwell Hospital, part of Bupa, is seeking a Radiographer for the Cath Lab in London. This permanent role involves performing IR, cardiac and neuro procedures with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient care.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team at Cromwell Hospital, London. Responsibilities include angiography, data analysis and reporting, with opportunities to train in single and biplane angiographic studies.

Qualifications

  • Angiography specific radiology qualification/certificate (desirable)
  • Relevant post-grad experience in an Angiography Lab (essential)
  • PACS Trained (essential)
  • BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
  • Registration with HCPC (essential)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with the departmental and hospital quality standards.
  • Perform all types of IR, cardiac and neuro procedures as required by referring Physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Angiogram and Cerebral aneurism embolization.
  • Demonstrate significant evidence of cardiac expertise and angiographic knowledge to meet with the expectations of the interventional consultants.
  • Ensure that a high-quality service is provided by monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance, and reporting.
  • Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting.
  • Participate in a Quality Assurance programme for equipment, processing and Radiation Protection, maintaining accurate records and reporting problems to the Radiation Protection Supervisor.
  • Be prepared to train and work in both single plane and biplane Angiographic Studies.

Department: Cath Lab

Location: Cromwell Hospital, Cromwell Road, London SW5 0TU

Contract: Permanent

Salary range: £34,130 to £38,870 per annum ( dependent on experience)

Full time/part time: Full Time / 37.5 hours per week

About The Cromwell Hospital

The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing outpatient and Inpatient service. The hospital has 114 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostics, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit.

The Unit Some of the procedures performed in our services include: Ablations, Coronary angiograms and angioplasties, Cardiac Devices insertion/removal, PFO closure, TAVI, EVAR, Prostate embolization, Fibroid embolization, Varicocele embolization, Lower limb angiogram/angioplasties, PTC, Cerebral angiogram and Cerebral aneurism embolization.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
