Job summary

Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale Hospitals is seeking a Radiographer for a 12-month maternity cover at Vale Hospital in the Radiology department. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with up to £34,000 per annum depending on experience.

You will bring HCPC registration, a BSc in diagnostic radiography, and strong teamwork. You’ll work with advanced imaging equipment, contribute to patient care, and support junior staff.

Qualifications

• BSc in diagnostic radiography or equivalent meeting HCPC registration requirements.
• Postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver the high-quality diagnostic imaging service.
• Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre.
• Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures.
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
• Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

Up to £34,000.00 per annum depending on experience

12 month maternity cover but with possibility to be extended to further (for discussion)

As a Radiographer at our hospital,you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a postgraduate qualification and excellent teamwork skills.

As a Radiographer, you will:
