Job summary

Medical Imaging Partnership Ltd in Brighton is seeking a Radiographer to join a busy imaging department providing MRI, CT and X‑ray services. You will be clinically trusted, HCPC registered with 1 year UK experience, and able to maintain high image quality, patient comfort and adherence to protocols.

A 7‑day service pattern with flexible hours offers varied shifts. Join a team dedicated to safe, efficient workflows, CPD, audits and quality initiatives, while upholding patient privacy and dignity

Qualifications

  • BSC in Radiography or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration in radiography.
  • 1 year UK experience with MRI/CT/X-ray.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI, CT and X-ray procedures with high image quality.
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures and ensure comfort.
  • Administer contrast media following PGDs and SOPs.
  • Work with senior colleagues to ensure safe, efficient workflows.
  • Engage in CPD, audits and quality initiatives.
  • Maintain patient privacy and dignity at all times.

  • Work collaboratively with senior colleagues across MRI services

  • Participate in CPD, audit and quality initiatives

Job responsibilities
Clinical
  • Undertake a wide variety MRI, CT and Xrays
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain the procedure and ensure that the patient is comfortable and properly positioned.
  • Ensure all referrals are justified and provide advice on protocols, if required
  • Ensure consistently high-quality images are produced.
  • Assess images for quality and clinical significance and escalates urgent findings as necessary.
  • Administer contrast media in line with PGD guidance, SOPs & protocols.
  • Remain responsible for own clinical areas with regards to linen change and cleanliness.
Further Responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest standards of both practical work and patient care at all times, including patient privacy and dignity. Provide support and reassurance to patients and families.
  • Maintain own personal continual professional development and a professional portfolio in line with HCPC & CoR recommendations and requirements.
  • Carry out responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, to have knowledge of supporting policies and safety and to undertake the appropriate level of training for your role.
