£32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Radiographer ideally qualified to PCN L2 to join their experienced team in Wombwell, Barnsley. This is a full‑time, permanent role As the Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing a reliable and efficient radiography service to our clients across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out radiographic interpretation on a range of materials and components working with X-Ray & Gamma Ray methods.
  • Generate radiographic techniques.
  • Good understanding of specifications & acceptance standards.
  • Ensure that all results are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company local rules and current legislation and health and safety procedures.
  • Calibrate & ensure that all equipment is maintained in a safe condition.
  • Preparing components for inspection.
  • Due to the nature of work involved applicants will be asked to sign a Non‑Disclosure agreement.
Required
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work using own initiative as well as within a team.
  • Computer literate.
Qualifications
  • PCN Level 2 certification in Radiography (Essential)
  • Previous experience working to SNT‑TC‑1A (Desirable, but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar role. (Essential)
  • Any other NDT Qualifications not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Qualification/Experience using overhead Cranes & Forklifts
