Job summary

JobsTrackR in Greater Manchester is seeking a Radio Systems Engineer to lead the design, deployment and commissioning of PMR, DMR, telemetry radio, and microwave systems across the UK and Europe.

As Technical Lead, you will mentor engineers, liaise with customers, manage site surveys, risk reviews, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

The role requires travel across UK and Europe, strong RF, IP networking knowledge, and willingness to undergo security vetting.

Qualifications

• Two-way radio communications expertise required.
• Strong knowledge of Motorola PMR, DMR, TETRA, telemetry, or microwave systems.
• Understanding of IP technologies including routing, switching, and VoIP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan projects, attend calls and deployment meetings.
• Interpret customer requirements and installation scopes for technical delivery.
• Cascade instructions to engineers and subcontractors; align resources with PMO.
