Job summary

Hovis is recruiting for a Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join our Glasgow depot team, delivering bakery products to supermarkets and retail sites. You will handle loading/unloading, tail lift use, and complete required paperwork while adhering to drivers’ hours and tachograph rules.

The role offers stable, full-time work with regular shifts, pension, health and wellbeing support, and on-site parking. Prior Class 2 or multi-drop experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class C (Cat C) licence required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Previous Class 2 or multi-drop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle on planned routes.
• Make multi-drop deliveries to stores and sites.
• Load and unload using cages and tail lift.
• Complete vehicle checks and related paperwork.
• Adhere to drivers’ hours rules and tachograph regulations.

The Role

We’re recruiting Class 2 (Cat C) drivers to carry out multi-drop deliveries from our Glasgow depot. You’ll be delivering bakery products to supermarkets and retail sites, completing 20–25 drops per shift. This is a hands‑on driving role involving loading and unloading, using tail lifts and cages.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle on planned routes
• Making multi-drop deliveries to stores
• Loading and unloading using cages / tail lift
• Completing vehicle checks and paperwork
• Working safely and following drivers’ hours and tachograph rules

What You Need

• Full UK Class C (Cat C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• No more than 6 points (no DD/DR)
• Previous Class 2 or multi-drop experience preferred
