The Information Governance Team are looking for a highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic team orientated individual to join our Registration Authority (RA) team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
You will be a key member of the Information Governance Team, working closely with the departments RA Agent, Information Governance Manager (Information Security) and the Head of Information Governance & Assurance to provide supporting and assistance with the running of the Registration Authority/Smartcard functions.
It is essential that you are organised and have the skills able to provide technical and administrative support, registering staff for Smartcards, assigning specific access to the range of electronic patient records systems we host. This is a highly demanding role and requires someone who likes a challenge., The post-holder will assist the Registration Authority (RA) Manager and information governance Officer (information security) in the delivery of the RA service and its on-going operation and maintenance across the organisation. Duties include all aspects of the RA service and provide necessary administration support to the Information Governance department.
The post holder will help aid the RA Manager and information governance Officer (information security) in ensuring that appropriate staff are registered for, and issued with Smartcards, following correct national and local procedures.
To provide advice and assistance in monitoring staff access to systems and ensuring relevant roles, business functions and units are set up to support clinical and corporate functions
