Job summary

Danone UK is hiring an R2R accountant to provide high-quality financial accounting and tax responsibilities, supporting monthly closing, corporate tax returns and reconciliations. The role offers hybrid work and funding for professional qualification, with the expectation to work from the Trowbridge office 2 days a week.

You will handle UK holding company reporting, intercompany coordination, VAT, and balance sheet reconciliations, contributing to process improvements while collaborating with BU

Role Purpose

Provide high-quality R2R processes supporting the R2R team with financial accounting and tax responsibilities. Support timely and accurate monthly closing processes, corporate tax returns, tax reporting requirements and reconciliations. Drive process improvement across R2R activities.

As part of this role, we will support and fund the continuation of your professional qualification, helping you further develop your expertise and advance your career. The role is hybrid, however you should be able to work from our Trowbridge office 2 days per week.

Key Activities

• Support month-end reporting activities and tax compliance.
• Manage the financial reporting and forecasting of UK holding companies, including management and statutory reporting.
• Support the audit of the UK and Ireland entities.
• Coordinate with BU & SP finance to support reporting including intercompany, tax, cash and fixed assets positions.
• Assist R2R team with VAT, cash, intercompany, fixed asset and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide accounting information for statutory and tax requirements.
• Manage quarterly tax payments and R2R payment forms including tax and dividends.
• Complete bank clearing and bank reconciliations.
• Support finance cash forecast process for tax and other R2R payments.
• Support tax returns and reporting including VAT and Corporate Tax. Salary Range £35,000-£40,000 About you
