Days: Fridays (January), then Thursdays & Fridays (after February half-term)
Contract: Long-term

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term role? Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wells, Somerset. This position involves teaching a mixed Reception/Year 1 class and will require planning, preparation, and marking.

The Role
  • Teach a Reception/Year 1 class in a supportive school environment.
  • Fridays from January, then Thursdays and Fridays after February half-term.
  • Full responsibility for planning, delivering lessons, and marking work.
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for early years and KS1 pupils.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
