Job description
Overview

We are looking for a sub contractor to work at our Safran Nacelles site for a 3 month duration so you need to be available to start within the next 3 weeks and can work full time in Burnley, Lancs. Sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this role, so please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK currently.

Responsibilities

The role will provide support to the R&T team to execute the R&T projects in relation to composite manufacturing, sheet metal and assembly technologies.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Project Engineer and required to:

  • Develop an understanding of the context of the projects and current challenges
  • Participate in defining a roadmap to address outstanding issues
  • Be able to present the development plan to the rest of the team and to experts for validation
  • Facilitate the execution of the plan in a timely manner
  • Help track progress and keep pushing to get things done
  • Communicate to stakeholders and ensure relevant information is circulated
  • Capture decisions with minutes of meetings
  • Report writing - review and collate results, providing a summary of conclusions and key recommendations
  • Close actions once quality requirements have been met
