Job summary

The RT/PBT Advanced Practitioner R&D Therapeutic Radiographer at University College London Hospital leads R&D initiatives across radiotherapy trials and the ECIP portfolio, collaborating with UCL and the wider MDT to embed research into clinical care.

The role involves data collation and analysis, dissemination of findings locally and nationally, and supporting service development projects within the department's workplan.

Responsibilities

• To manage the clinical implementation of the Radiotherapy Trials and ECIP Portfolio
• To implement selected Radiotherapy studies and ECIP studies into clinical practice in a timely manner
• To ensure that trial protocols, processes and timelines are adhered to
• To develop protocols as part of the wider radiotherapy MDT for in-house studies
• To assist in the development and maintenance of databases as appropriate
• To ensure that trial data and Case Report Forms (CRFs), as required, are completed within appropriate time guidelines
