Qualifications

Job description

• Hands-on test of Zenitel PAVA communication systems including both hardware and software.
• Set up and execute manual and/or automated testing for new or updated hardware and software.
• In collaboration with Test and Qualification colleagues:
  • Produce comprehensive test plans for software and hardware products.
  • Design flexible and scalable test environments to support test plans and departmental needs.
  • Where possible, develop /deploy automated tests using appropriate tools and environments, including scripting, user interfaces, and test rigs.

Competence requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ideally ISTQB certification (minimum foundation level).
• Experience in product testing of embedded systems (software and hardware).
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages for scripting and GUI development.
• Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu).
• Familiarity with networking principles and protocols.
• Understanding of electronics and system-level integration.
