BDO UK LLP is seeking a consultant to join the Innovation & Technology Group within the Corporate Tax team. You will translate complex technical concepts for software clients and contribute to R&D tax relief services, grants and related advisory work.

The role is client-facing in the technology sector, requiring clear communication and willingness to travel to client premises and other offices as needed. You’ll work with engineers, scientists and tax professionals to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Recognised university degree in Information Technology or Computer Software with demonstrable work experience in engineering, science or technical roles.
• Experience with software clients or software-related R&D tax claims as an R&D tax practitioner.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Translate complex technical ideas into non-technical concepts for a broad client base.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Tax team to deliver bespoke taxation services.
• Engage with clients primarily in technology and software sectors and travel to their premises as needed.
