Job summary

Supreme Search Specialists is looking for an experienced R&D Tax Relief Manager to lead complex R&D claims within a growing Top 40 advisory group. You will own a varied client portfolio and work closely with accountants, tax advisors and clients across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience managing R&D Tax Relief claims.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK R&D Tax Relief legislation.
• Experience in an accountancy practice or specialist R&D consultancy.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service.

Responsibilities

• Managing R&D Tax Relief claims from initiation through to completion.
• Overseeing a diverse portfolio of R&D clients across multiple sectors.
• Preparing detailed and technically robust R&D Tax Reports.
• Producing accurate and comprehensive R&D claim costings.
• Advising clients on qualifying R&D activities and expenditure.
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Collaborating with accountants and tax advisors across the firm.
• Staying up to date with changes to R&D Tax legislation and HMRC guidance.
• Supporting the growth and development of the R&D Tax department.
• Delivering a high level of client service and technical expertise.
