Qualifications

• Experience working in the software/IT industry.
• Experience preparing and submitting R&D tax relief claims.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop claim methodologies and manage the preparation of R&D tax relief claims.
• Lead interviews with clients’ technical and finance teams.
• Write technical descriptions of the client’s projects for reports.
• Identify and progress business development opportunities.
• Lead on specific R&D software projects.
• Assist junior team members using computer science or developer skills.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of computer science and software development

Good level of tax technical knowledge of the UK’s R&D tax incentives
