Job summary

S&W is seeking a Tax Research and Development Assistant Manager in Birmingham to lead R&D tax projects in the IT/Software sector. You will manage engagements, review technical reports, and liaise with clients and regulators to ensure high-quality outputs.

You will mentor junior staff, stay current with UK tax changes, and help develop new R&D tax services while collaborating with other departments. Hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Experience in R&D tax field.
• Proven project and team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and HMRC guidelines.
• Proficiency with tax research databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
