Qualifications

• Previous experience in incentives & reliefs or R&D tax.
• Strong understanding of HMRC compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of R&D and incentives clients from start to finish.
• Leading client meetings to discuss technical project details.
• Preparing and reviewing R&D tax relief and other incentive claims.
• Liaising with HMRC and ensuring claims meet required standards.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Collaborating with managers and directors to support business growth.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong Excel and IT skills

Proven people management experience

Education

CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification

Degree in a science/technology field (engineering, software)
