Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director, Business Strategy & Operations (BS&O) – PPM & Data Science to partner with the Heads of PPM and Data Science and act as Chief of Staff. You will architect operating rhythms, oversee multi-year workforce planning, and steward department financials to accelerate pipeline delivery and AI innovation across Jazz R&D.

You will lead executive communications, strategic narratives for board reviews, and cross-functional governance discussions while driving

Qualifications

• Extensive progressive experience in biopharma, biotech, or life sciences.
• Experience partnering with executive leaders (VP/SVP level).
• Direct experience leading workforce planning and resource modeling.
• Demonstrated budgeting, forecasting, and variance tracking with Finance.
• Experience in business development due diligence and post-deal integrations.
• Strong ability to craft executive narratives for boards and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the executive operating rhythm across PPM and Data Science functions.
• Oversee multi-year workforce planning and capacity modeling.
• Manage combined budgets for OpEx, vendors, and headcount.
• Drive strategic narratives for Executive Committee and Board reviews.
• Lead post-transaction functional integrations and platform onboarding.
