Job summary

Georgiana Head Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced R&D Tax Specialist to join the R&D department in Crosshills, near Keighley and Skipton. You will own a portfolio of R&D tax claims, work directly with clients and liaise with HMRC, translating technical details into clear narratives.

The ideal candidate has several years’ practice experience, strong knowledge of R&D legislation and DSIT/CIRD guidance, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Job description

Our client is a local independent accountancy firm who seek an experienced R&D Tax Specialist to join their R&D department based in Crosshills which is between Keighley and Skipton in West Yorkshire. Excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional with several years’ experience in practice to take ownership your own portfolio of clients including end to end R&D claims, working directly with clients, and liaising confidently with HMRC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of R&D legislation, DSIT Guidelines and CIRD guidance. You must be confident in conducting technical interviews and translating complex technical information into clear written narratives. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and great organisation skills.

Hybrid and flexible working will be considered for the right candidate. This role would suit someone who likes to work autonomously running their own workload and building relationships with clients.
