Job summary

Reacta Healthcare Limited is seeking an R&D Scientist to join the Deeside team, contributing to new product development within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will support QTPP/CQAs, coordinate external labs, and ensure compliance with regulatory and pharmacopeial standards.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with stability studies, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across the R&D team.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Experience in analytical method development and validation, particularly HPLC.
  • Experience with stability studies and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and build effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support the establishment of QTPP and CQAs for new products.
  • Generate specifications for excipients, actives, packaging materials and finished products.
  • Coordinate testing with contract laboratories; provide technical liaison.
  • Prepare sampling instructions and R&D procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform investigations and manage quality events to support compliance and improvement.
  • Set up technical study protocols to support new material/product development.
  • Design, set up, and manage stability studies with sampling/testing requirements.
  • Review analytical data records from contract laboratories.
  • Analyse, trend and present statistical data to inform decisions.
  • Support internal and external audits and product tech transfer.
  • Keep up to date with literature and regulatory developments.
