Job summary

A leading technology company based in Bicester is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support and maintain production in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in a similar role and a relevant technical qualification. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain production.
  • Respond to breakdowns and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Ensure proper functioning of equipment according to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot control systems and mechanical issues.
  • Own preventative and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Use tools and schematics for diagnosis and repair.
  • Develop safe culture compliant with ISO standards.

Job description
Job Overview

towards the engineering task relating to manufacturing and development of established and new processes. The role requirements include wearing a full cleanroom suit with an expectation that the majority of the work day will take place within the cleanroom. The position is initially day based with the expectation of moving to be shift based.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain production
  • Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot and return equipment to production in a timely manner
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly in accordance with specifications to comply with applied standards
  • Effectively troubleshoot control systems, vacuum, electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems
  • Own preventative and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment; develop specifications, troubleshooting methodologies, and support systems
  • Use schematics, tools, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
  • Disassemble, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and Original Equipment Manufacturer's manuals
  • Identify and implement machine improvements to increase efficiency, yield, productivity and reduce operating costs
  • Ensure engineering principles and procedures are adhered to by other employees when operating equipment
  • Develop a positively safe and environmental culture to satisfy ISO 18001 and ISO 140001
  • Supervise and train fellow technicians

Qualifications
