Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. seeks an experienced R&D Packaging Manager to lead the development, optimisation and industrialisation of packaging solutions across primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.

The role focuses on delivering an outstanding consumer experience while balancing sustainability, quality, regulatory, manufacturing and cost objectives. You will lead a team of packaging specialists and partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers from concept through to commercialisation,

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven packaging development experience in FMCG or consumer goods.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, sustainability, regulatory requirements and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of innovative packaging from concept to launch.
• Drive packaging optimisation, sustainability initiatives and cost-savings.
• Provide technical leadership across packaging development projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver packaging solutions.
• Ensure packaging meets quality, regulatory, manufacturing and commercial requirements.
• Lead, develop and mentor the Packaging Team.
• Support continuous improvement through innovation and best practice.
