Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Maidenhead, UK is hiring a Senior Engineer, R&D Digital to lead CTM Solutions initiatives within Innovative Medicine. The role sits at the intersection of clinical operations and IT, delivering system enhancements and user support to study teams across global sites.

You will partner with IT, biopharma partners and vendors, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with GCPs and FDA CFRs while enabling efficient trial management. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, science, information technology or related field.
• At least 5 years of clinical trial execution experience in pharma, medical device, or CRO.
• Experience supporting IT systems for clinical development and Office 365.
• Solid understanding of GCPs and FDA CFRs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (Domestic/International).

Responsibilities

• Identify technology improvements that optimize CTM Solutions and deliver measurable value.
• Assess study-team needs and translate them into practical system solutions.
• Support study build, maintenance, and effective system use throughout the study lifecycle.
• Provide end-user support through service tickets and shared mailboxes.
• Identify and support opportunities to improve workflows through automation and analytics.
• Coordinate release management, user acceptance testing, and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot advanced system and process issues with IT and vendors.
• Create and deliver training and reference materials for users.
• Facilitate team meetings and contribute to cross-functional projects.
• Support system audits, regulatory inspections, and CAPA actions.
