Job summary

In this role you will manage a portfolio of R&D clients, delivering proactive advice, tax planning, and growth for the Innovation and R&D team. You will review and prepare R&D claims for HMRC and build strong client relationships.

With CTA/ACA qualification and a solid STEM background, you will advise on incentives, support partners, and help expand the client base. We offer flexible working and a collaborative, diverse culture that values your voice.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA or equivalent qualification.
• Technical STEM background.
• Excellent knowledge of R&D tax rules.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of R&D claims and reports for HMRC.
• Communicate with clients to carry out R&D claims and develop relationships.
• Identify potential R&D claims and discuss with clients.
• Prepare quotes and budgets; report to Partners on financial management.
• Provide technical advice on innovation incentives and tax planning.
• Support partners and relationship managers on client matters.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Expand client base through networking and referrals.
• Coach and train junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with technical, ethical and regulatory procedures.
