Job Title: R&D Chemist – Mortar, Screed & Cement Products

Location: Commutable to Telford

Remuneration: £40,000 – £45,000 + profit share bonus

Role Overview

The role of the R&D Chemist – Mortar, Screed & Cement Products will involve:

• R&D Chemist position, dealing with a high quality manufactured range of mortar, plaster and render
• Supporting in the development of both new and existing products and formulations
• Researching and testing new raw materials and building strong relationships with suppliers
• Generate Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations using specialist software (training provided)
• Supporting in Quality Control (QC) testing when required
• Support in troubleshooting production issues

Ideal Applicant

Must have R&D experience and be familiar with producing formulations.

Must have experience dealing with related products such as: cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemicals admixtures, grouts and resins.

Familiar with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards.

Ideally will be degree level educated in chemistry or related field.
