Job summary

Jotun Paints (Europe) Ltd is seeking a hands-on R&D support role based in the United Kingdom. You will assist in assigned tasks, manage materials and equipment, and report results to stakeholders. A strong safety mindset and basic IT skills are required to support daily lab activities.

You will work in a collaborative team, with opportunities to learn through Jotun Academy and regional development programs.

Qualifications

• Comfort using hand tools such as angle grinders, drills, paddle-mixers.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to follow formulations and adhere to HSE standards.
• Basic skills on CPU, Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Willing to work off-site for 20+ days per year.
• Act on own initiative and take responsibility for own duties.
• Be flexible in their approach to work.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Be structured in daily tasks with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Work well as a member of a team.
• People and task oriented.
• Experience in coatings industry preferred, intumescent products particularly preferred.

• Contribute to products, assets, projects, and tasks by assisting in their completion by carrying out hands on duties according to instruction and set procedures.
