Breedon Group plc is seeking a Quarry Supervisor at Shap Blue Quarry & Asphalt Plant in Cumbria. The role supports the Quarry Manager to safely and efficiently run quarry operations, including production planning, troubleshooting, and coordinating with other departments on site.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the extractive industry, strong safety focus, and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Quarry Manager in safe and efficient operation of the quarry.
• Assist with management of production and extraction activities.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and plan day-to-day operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections.
• Contribute to procurement and budget control and maintain records.
• Demonstrate leadership in safety and uphold zero-harm culture.
