Breedon Group plc is looking for a Quarry Operative to join our Operations and Maintenance team at Borras Quarry, Wrexham. The role involves operating heavy plant and assisting with the extraction and processing of aggregates. Candidates should possess competence in machinery operation and a strong understanding of health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Competence in operating plant or machinery (e.g. loading shovel, excavator, dumper truck).
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform simple maintenance tasks.
• Understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and fixed plant in a safe manner.
• Assist in the extraction and processing of raw materials.
• Conduct regular safety checks and report any hazards.

Skills
